Maximilian is 68 years old. He suffers from arterial hypertension, diabetes, and pain in
his body due to arthritis, but that does not prevent his dedication to agriculture work he’s been doing thought his life.

At the dental office, we diagnosed abundant bacterial plaque, gingivitis, and bleeding, some teeth fractured, and other necrotic or dead (root remains). Furthermore, we discovered
that the prosthesis he had been using for more than 20 years is in a very bad condition. Because of his low financial resources, Maximiliano had not even been able to try to access a dental consultation.

BitcoinSmiles is an initiative by BTCPay Server, Bitcoin Design & Diente Zonte clinic aiming to raise funds and provide free dental care to impoverished people living in rural areas of El Salvador.
