Antonia

Antonia “Mamá Toña” is 84 years old. She dedicated her whole life to the hard work of the field, raising animals, and keeping to the 14 children she fathered with Don Marcos, who passed away a few months ago at 95 years.

Mama Toña has lost her vision in her right eye due to cataracts, she suffers from high blood pressure, arthritis, and deafness. During dental consultation we found a prosthesis overflowing with several decades of use and in poor condition, which lacerated and irritated her oral mucosa and made it difficult for her to eat food.
