Victoria

Victoria is 84 years old. As a young girl, her first job was working with her father in the cotton fields of Acajutla (Sonsonate). Later, she dedicated her entire life to planting and harvesting corn and beans and raising chickens. “The machete and extreme work was my life,” says Victoria.

She currently helps take care of a ranch, but her moving around is difficult because of advanced arthritis she developed. Furthermore, her sight began to weaken. She lost her teeth permanently at the age of twenty, which has harmed her personal development and also her nutrition. Her dentures were in poor condition, broken, and old. Today we’ve changed that!
