Williams
Treated Sep 2022 · paid by the 2021 raise

Williams is 58 years old and works in construction as a bricklayer. He has diabetes and a predisposition to high blood pressure. He says he had tried to find dental help before, but no one would take on his case.
At the consultation he had generalised chronic periodontitis and destruction of his upper jawbone, caused by a chronic infection he had lived with for years. Seventeen teeth were extracted in a necrotic state (dead or decaying), and he was put on an intensive course of antibiotics to restore his oral health.
