Rosalina

Rosalina is 59 years old. She has always looked after her home, which she shares with her husband, who works in agriculture. Arthritis has left her with mobility problems.

She came to the clinic with chronic pain in her teeth, along with bleeding, teeth that had become very loose, and bone loss. Poor oral hygiene had led to generalised chronic periodontitis, a disease that destroys the teeth and all the tissues around them. The 19 teeth she had left were extracted and her teeth were fully restored.
