Thomas is 73 years old. He has high blood pressure and is pre-diabetic, and he makes his living from a small ceviche and seafood business. He lost part of his teeth when he was very young, and the ones he still has are severely worn from grinding (bruxism), which causes sensitivity and periodontal problems.
