Marcelina

Marcelina is 50. She never went to school and has struggled all her life just to get by.

She is the mother of five. Her days go on looking after the small place where she lives and helping with the family’s farm work. At the clinic she needed more than a dozen extractions, since all of her teeth were decayed and there was severe bone loss.

For as long as she can remember, Marcelina has had trouble eating. Having dentures of her own was not something she could picture.
