Santos

Santos is 68 years old and has had trouble with his teeth for almost three decades. He lost his permanent teeth early in life, which has caused severe bone loss in his jaw, difficulty eating and chewing, and frequent pain in his head and neck.

He has spent most of his life in agriculture and construction. He now looks after a ranch and helps build and repair the rural roads around his community. On his low income, dental treatment and dentures were out of reach.
