Antonia

Antonia, known as “Mamá Toña”, is 84 years old. She spent her life in hard work in the fields, raising animals and providing for the 14 children she had with Don Marcos, who died a few months ago at the age of 95.

Mamá Toña has lost the sight in her right eye to cataracts, and she has high blood pressure, arthritis and deafness. At the dental consultation we found an ill-fitting denture, decades old and in poor condition, which cut and irritated the lining of her mouth and made eating difficult.
