Don Raúl is 78 and retired. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease a couple of years ago, but the tremors and the difficulty in walking and moving do not stop him staying active and working every day grinding corn.
Twenty years ago he was in a road accident in which he almost lost his right arm. He had reconstructive surgery on the shoulder and the joint was replaced, but he never recovered its function.
He had trouble with his teeth for years, and five years ago his last molar was extracted. He now has full dentures, thanks to Bitcoin.
