Elena

Elena is 78 and has made her living selling fruit and seeds, tending ranches, cooking and working without rest in domestic service. She had an operation on her womb twenty years ago and on her gallbladder eight years ago, and she has hypertension. Headaches and dizziness are a regular part of her life.

By her own account, she had been without teeth for more than 25 years. Her son, who is 58, had never been to a dentist either, and his oral health is in a severe and irreversible state.

Elena now looks radiant and renewed, and the smile she had hoped for is real. Her son is one of our next patients.
