Don Beto

Don Beto is 83. He is a cheerful man with a good attitude toward life. As a young man he worked as a bricklayer and in farming. He currently has no fixed income or regular help, and survives on odd jobs like chopping firewood or mowing grass.

He used to live on family land, from which he was evicted by his own family. He now lives in a small house provided by the owner of a private plot, which he also helps look after.
