Chepito

Chepito is 73 and says he is an extremely cheerful man. He is the caretaker of a ranch and helps with the chickens and the eggs. He remembers his time in the barracks as a young man, and working in the fields.

He walks with difficulty but with a good attitude. He lost his teeth early in life, which led to severe bone loss and made many foods hard to eat. He tried several times to get help to have his mouth restored, without success: many dental professionals turned him down because his dental condition was difficult and he had no money.
