Adrián

Adrián works in construction and in the fields, and he saved in bitcoin so that he could pay for the denture he had dreamed of. He is the patient who inspired the Bitcoin Smiles initiative. His earlier surgery included a temporary prosthesis, and we have now been able to give him a remodelled permanent one.

Adrián had 13 extractions and a small bone remodelling operation on his jaw.

He has already received his upper prosthesis. Six months on, with the surgery healed, we will replace his complete temporary lower prosthesis, a splint, with his definitive full prosthesis.
